How it is made
The embroidery is run on a single-head machine in Lahore. It is slower than the multi-head sets most workshops use, but it keeps the stitch density even on lawn this fine — on a multi-head the cloth puckered between the motifs and would not press flat. The lace is cotton rather than polyester. It costs more and it softens with washing instead of yellowing.
